Our HVAA GK Academy is a 4-week training program for our travel soccer goalkeepers. The program is designed for our beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. The sessions will be divided based on age groups. Our younger goalkeepers will focus on a training plan that covers handling, diving, positioning, and other basic keeper skills. Our more advanced keepers will focus on positioning, shot stopping, 1v1s, and playing with their feet in addition to sharpening the key basic techniques.
HVAA's GK Academy is led by our HVAA professional coaches and trainers, Mike Gould and Bree Pudlo. Mike is Temple University's goalkeeper coach. He also was a college keeper at Cabrini University and Bree was a college keeper at Holy Family University. Both Mike and Bree are committed to improving the skill level of each player and learning to play with confidence.
How does the program work? First, register online with HVAA. Then you will be added to a TeamSnap GK Academy group. Please be sure to look for an email from TeamSnap and accept that team invite.
What does the program look like? All sessions are one hour and fifteen minutes. The location of the session is weather-dependent. They will be held either outdoors at Valley Center Park turf field or indoors at Lower Moreland High School gymnasium. The sessions will be held once a week. The Sunday dates are 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, and 2/27 and will run from 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM.
What is the cost of the program? The GK academy is $100 for 4 sessions.
